Smartzone™ Interactive Digital Displays and Customer Service Solutions Smartzone™ is a unique new digital signage and customer services solutiondeveloped by BrandPlay Group.

A range of elegant portrait format display units are available in single or double sided32”, 42”, 46”, 57”, 65” or 70” formats. Smartzone™ delivers a combination of touch screen and gesture-based interactivity,together with augmented reality, Bluetooth and RFID functionality that takes digitalsignage to another level.

For digital signage, advertising and customer service deployments Smartzone™delivers the following functionality:

Runs a show reel (playlist) with configurable repeats, length of display, etc (mediaplayer loop) featuring the following:

• Static ‘poster’ displaying for a schedule time, for example. 10 seconds

• Simple moving image ‘poster’ displaying 10-30 seconds (flash, after effects,video)

• Motion detection interactive ‘poster’ where display changes as personapproaches unit

• Gesture-based interaction with poster featuring effects (water, reveal, sprites,particles, etc)

• Touch-based interaction – for example, input of email address, interactiveshop directory

• Image capture – for example, an interactive ‘poster’ with dancing shapes ofviewer

• Augmented reality- for example further camera capture of viewer’s image andplacing in the picture/application say in a virtual changing room.

• Symbol recognition for augmented reality or change of application forexample trying on jewelry or sunglasses on screen.

• RFID recognition to change display or application- for example to call up aloyalty application or competition.

• Bluetooth download on touch of screen

• Send SMS on touch of screen

• Integration with social media (subject to internet connection availability) Smaretzone™ uniquely allows the combination of media and interactive applicationsin a single playlist, for example whilst the user is interacting with an augmentedreality application the playlist suspends and resumes a pre set time after theinteraction finishes.

This allows media and customer service applications to share thesame unit maximizing ROI. Smartzone™ also records the number of people who pass within view (ie. walk by)and the number who stop and interact, and provides daily reporting of these numbers.

The system supports stand-alone operation, and 3G and ADSL connectivity andfeatures auto restart, recovery after power failure and other resilience features tosupport remote deployments. (show video demos and pics)
